Moore Township: Land protection board to meet Nov. 11

Moore Township Land and Environmental Protection Board will next meet 7 p.m. Nov. 11 at the township municipal building, 2491 Community Drive.

Moore Township Board of Supervisors meets 6 p.m. Nov. 12 at the municipal building.

Moore Township Recreation Committee’s next meeting is set for 7 p.m. Nov. 14 at the recreation center, 635 English Road. The committee’s goals are to assist township children and families.

Bingo is held 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive. Doors open 5 p.m.

The night includes prizes, progressive jackpot, rob the piggy bank and wash line bingo.

Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church, 696 Johnson Road, Moorestown, hosts a Scout Troop 74 meeting 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday in the social hall. Scouts are for boys and girls 10 years old and up.

The township emergency management coordinator reminds residents emergencies can happen while you are traveling. An accident or weather-related incident can cause significant delays.

When traveling, keep a small kit containing drinks, snacks, flashlight and a blanket. The best way to deal with an emergency is to be prepared.

First Regional Compost Authority is open six days a week, weather permitting, for residents to get mulch.
