Louis R. Albright III, 82, of Whitehall, died Oct. 29, 2024, at Fellowship Community in Whitehall. He was the husband of the late of Karen C. (Coyle) Albright.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Louis R. Jr. and Miriam L (Dorney) Albright.
He graduated from Wittenberg University in 1964 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.
He honorably served in the U.S. National Guard from 1964 to 1970.
He worked along with his father at Albright Son & Co. Later he worked for Garrett Buchanan Paper/Unisource Paper from 1975 to 1999. He then went on to work for Whiteman Tower Paper Company from 2000 to 2004.
He was a member of Union Lutheran Church in Neffs.
He was a charter member and was on the board of directors for Parkland Area Jaycees and was a member of Maskenozha Rod and Gun Club, where he also was on the board of directors. He was a volunteer for Miller-Keystone Blood Center and Meals on Wheels for many years. He was also a member of Upper Lehigh Lions Club.
He is survived by two daughters, Angela J. George with Michael of Schnecksville and Maria L. of Whitehall; a sister, Dorothy Lynn with David of Pinehurst, N.C.; two grandsons, Owen and Mason; nieces; and nephews.
