Salem United Methodist Church, 1067 Blue Mountain Drive, Danielsville, will be having an all-you-can-eat breakfast 9-11 a.m. Nov. 9. All veterans and active military eat for free.
Breakfast includes an authentic military-style SOS, scrambled eggs, hash brown casserole, toast, coffee and juice.

For the second consecutive year, Oplinger-Hower American Legion Post 899, Lehigh Township, will be participating in Wreaths Across America to remember and honor the service and sacrifice of thousands of past and present U.S. military service members during wreath-laying ceremonies this holiday season.
The Legion will place fresh-cut balsam wreaths on veterans’ grave sites Dec. 14, starting noon, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church Cemetery, 4112 W. Mountain View Drive, Berlinsville, and then proceeding next to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Indianland, Cemetery. The public is invited to attend.
The Legion is looking for sponsors for the wreaths. Sponsorships will be included in the program. Sponsorships for the wreaths are due by Nov. 25.
