St. Ann’s Catholic Church member
Eileen June Butler, 90, a devoted mother, grandmother and great- grandmother died peacefully Oct. 30, 2024. Born in Yonkers, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (McAndris) Doran.
She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Emmaus.
Her greatest devotion was to her family, which included her daughter, Marylou (Charlton Yarnall), of Swansboro, N.C.; sons, William (Donna), of Doylestown, Kenneth (Mariellen), of Doylestown, Timothy (Michaelene), of Macungie; grandchildren, Anna Yarnall Edkins (Nathaniel); Nicole, Bill and Matt, Chrissy Hrynko (Garret), Alex, Abbey and Michael; great-grandchildren, Lilly, Jameson and Charlotte Edkins, Logan Hrynko and her sister, Jane Fisher (Russell).
She was predeceased by her sister, Maryellen Strollo; two granddaughters, Leighton Yarnall-Adduce, Whitney Yarnall.
She worked for A-1 Answering Service and spent many years at Lehigh Valley Hospital working in their paging department until her retirement. Her legacy will live on through her family and all the beautiful and happy memories she has given them.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Nov. 8 at St. Ann’s Church, 415 S. Sixth St., Emmaus. A calling period will be held 9:15-10:15 a.m. at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus.
Donations in memory of her granddaughter can be made to St. Ann’s School, 435 S. Sixth St., Emmaus, 18049. In memo, place Leighton Yarnall-Adduce Scholarship Fund.
