Donald J. Oravec, 94, of Bethlehem, died October 24, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late John and Anna (Polenchar) Oravec. He was the husband of Dolores L. (Marcinko) Oravec for 74 years.

He was an auto technician for Haldeman Ford, Allentown, for many years until he retired in 1993. He was a member of Saints Simon & Jude Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children, Donna Jean (Raymond) Becker of Bethlehem Township, Diane (Douglas) Reed of Lee Summit, Missouri; Denise (Paul) Beverly of Ridgeway, South Carolina; David (Cindy) Oravec of Palmer Township and Doris (Donald Sledz) Oravec and Dorothea Graser, both of Bethlehem; a brother, Gerald (Carol) Oravec of Virginia; a sister, Rosemary (Wilbur) Lilly of Bethlehem; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Hannah Graser.
