Emmaus police

Aggravated assault

A 14-year-old female, of Emmaus, was arrested Aug. 29 at Emmaus High School, 500 Macungie Ave., for alleged aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest or other law enforcement, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and harassment, according to Emmaus police.

Simple assault

Patrick W. Evrard, 46, of Emmaus, was arrested Aug. 31 for alleged simple assault and harassment after an incident in the 300 block of Broad Street, according to Emmaus police.

Jillene Annabelle Bogert, 60, of Emmaus, was arrested Sept. 14 for alleged simple assault and harassment after an incident in the 100 block of South Fifth Street, according to Emmaus police.

Fleeing or attempting to elude police

Julien David Dechert, 22, of Emmaus, was arrested Sept. 4 for allegedly fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, recklessly endangering another person, reckless driving and multiple other motor vehicle violations in the 100 block of State Avenue, according to Emmaus police.

DUI

Blake Douglas Madtes, 31, of Allentown, was arrested Aug. 25 in the unit block of East Main Street for allegedly driving under the influence and obedience to traffic control devices, according to Emmaus police.

Abuse of care-dependent person

Thomas Giles, 29, of Easton, was charged Sept. 10 with two counts of alleged abuse of a care-dependent person and three counts of harassment after an incident April 14 in the unit block of North Fourth Street, according to Emmaus police.

Retail theft

Erin Ruth Mackes, 43, of Emmaus, was charged Sept. 8 with alleged retail theft valued at more than $150 after multiple thefts, totaling $175.03, from a business in the 1200 block of Chestnut Street, according to Emmaus police.

Small amount of marijuana

Analiz Torres, 20, of Northampton, was arrested for allegedly having a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after an incident Aug. 22 in the unit block of South Fifth Street, according to Emmaus police.

Trespassing

Laxmi Shah Hodge, 18, of Bethlehem was arrested Sept. 12 for alleged trespassing at Emmaus High School, 500 Macungie Ave., according to Emmaus police.

Harassment

A 32-year-old person, of Alburtis, was arrested and cited for alleged harassment and disorderly conduct Aug. 31 after an incident at the Emmaus Community Park, 1401 Shimerville Road, according to Emmaus police.

A 37-year-old person, of Emmaus, was arrested for alleged harassment Sept. 6 after an incident in the 100 block of Dell Street, according to Emmaus police. The person was cited for two counts of harassment, according to authorities.

A 35-year-old person, of Emmaus, was arrested and cited Sept. 7 for alleged harassment after an incident in the 600 block of Evergreen Street, according to Emmaus police.

A 33-year-old person, of Emmaus, was arrested and cited Sept. 7 for alleged harassment after an incident in the 100 block of Dell Street, according to Emmaus police.

A 58-year-old person, of Emmaus, was arrested and charged with alleged harassment Sept. 14 after an incident in the 700 block of Chestnut Street, according to Emmaus police.

Criminal trespass

A 16-year-old female, of Allentown, was charged with criminal trespass Sept. 7 after an incident at Emmaus Community Pool July 17, according to Emmaus police. The teen was charged through the Lehigh County Juvenile Courts.

Theft from vehicle

Catalytic converters were removed from vehicles parked in the 400 block of North Second Street, the 200 block of North Street, the 400 block of North Fifth Street, the 400 block of North Third Street and the unit block of West Greenleaf Street, according to Emmaus police. The thefts were reported Sept. 1.

Items valued at $285 were removed from a vehicle in the 900 block of Evergreen Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Sept. 2.

A catalytic converter was removed from a vehicle parked in the 500 block of Liberty Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Sept. 4.

Theft

A bicycle, valued at $500, was removed from the Emmaus Community Park, 1401 Shimerville Road, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Aug. 31.

Fraud

A resident of the 600 block of Greenleaf Street reported a scam Sept. 6, according to Emmaus police.

Criminal mischief

A tire was vandalized on a vehicle parked in the 200 block of South 16th Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Sept. 6.
