The first marking period ended Oct. 30 at Catasauqua Middle School. Report cards will be available Nov. 5 on the parent portal.

The CMS eighth-grade students will take a trip to Lehigh Career and Technical Institute Nov. 6.

There will be no classes for Catasauqua Area School District students Nov. 11. Teachers will have an in-service day.

Catasauqua Community Cares Program is holding its annual winter coat drive. New and gently used coats, as well as hats and gloves, are being collected in bins at the district administration building, 201 N. 14th St.

Students and families in the district will be able to choose winter wear during the distribution event, scheduled for 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 16 in the board room of the district administration building.

The next CMS parent teacher forum meeting is set for 7 p.m. Nov. 19.

The middle school will have early dismissals Nov. 20 and 21. Students will be dismissed 12:20 p.m.

Parent teacher conferences will be held later both days.
