Viola (Vi) C. Hertzog, 71, of Bethlehem, died September 9, 2024. Born and raised in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Jean and Elmer Noss.

She graduated from Dieruff H.S. and earned a degree from Lehigh University College of Business.

She was employed by the Lehigh County Veterans Affairs for more than 30 years and left as the assistant director. During that time, she was a police security officer in Lehigh County and ended as a police lieutenant.

She is survived by a son, Shawn A. Wagner of Bethlehem; four grandchildren, Tegan, Tori and Shawn P. Wagner and Tristen Burrell of Virginia; and two brothers, William Noss (Kim) of Tennessee and Elmer Noss Jr. (Francine) of Emmaus.
