Ann L. Bowers, 84, of Bethlehem and formerly of Slatington, died October 14, 2024, at Bethlehem South Skilled Nursing Facility. Born in New Tripoli, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Merryl L. (Fatzinger) Balliet. She was the wife of the late Harry Bowers Jr. for 63 years.

She was a sales associate for the former Sears Department Store, Whitehall, until she retired in 1997.

She was a member of Ebenezer U.C.C. Church, New Tripoli.

She is survived by a daughter, Denise (David) Knittle of Lansford; two brothers, Donald M. (Susan) Christ of New Tripoli and Lee Roy Christ of Slatington; a sister, Barbara Rauch of New Tripoli; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Bowers of Slatington and other sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; a daughter-in-law, Deborah Bowers of Emmaus; three grandchildren, Shannon, Farrah and Kyle; two step-granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Randy Bowers; and a sister, Marlene Koenig.
