Library offering programs for kids, teens, adults
Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, is offering Toddler Story Time with Ms. Audrey and her ukulele 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 25 and Nov. 1.
This drop-in story time is best suited for youngsters ages 1-3 with a caregiver.

Cardmaking with Sending Sunshine program for teens ages 12-18 will take place 4-5 p.m. on Oct. 25 and Nov. 1.
Earn volunteer hours making cards for seniors.

Baby Story Time for kids ages birth to 15 months, with an adult caregiver, will take place 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 28 and Nov. 4.
The library staff will share simple books, lap bounces, rhymes, and songs, all designed to help babies build important social, motor, and early literacy skills.

Yoga instructor Larissa Noto, with The Lovely Little Lotus, will present Yoga Story Time for kids ages 3-8 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. on Oct. 28.

Spooky storytelling with local author Charles J. Adams III for adults and high schoolers will be presented 7-8 p.m. on Oct. 28.

The teen advisory board will meet 6-7 p.m. Oct. 29.

Nighttime Knitters will meet 6-8 p.m. Oct. 29.
Knitters are encouraged to bring their current project and knowledge to help those in attendance.

Stephen King Night for adults and high schoolers will take place 7-8 p.m. Oct. 30.
Show off your Stephen King knowledge while having fun and drinking some red punch.

Preschool Story Time for kids ages 3-5 will take place 10-10:45 a.m. and from 11-11:45 a.m. Oct. 31 and Nov. 7.
There will be story time and craft.

Coloring Club for Adults will be offered from 2-4 p.m. Oct. 31 and Nov. 7. Spend an afternoon coloring.

Yarn lovers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to attend the Not Just Knitting group from 2-4 p.m. Oct. 31 and Nov. 7.
Bring your materials for an afternoon of knitting with friends and swapping tips.

Adults, join the library staff and try your luck at bingo 1-2 p.m. Nov. 1.
Will your card have the lucky numbers?
Participants are asked to bring a small prize to add excitement to each round played.
All games are free to play.

The intergenerational gardening club will meet 10-11:30 a.m. on Nov. 2 for a creative and seasonal hands-on gardening workshop.
Participants will be guided through planting succulents in carved pumpkins.
Bring a scooper.

There will be a chair yoga class for adults 10:30-11:15 a.m. Nov. 4.
Chair yoga is a gentle, therapeutic, and accessible form of yoga that uses a chair as a primary prop to modify traditional yoga poses so they can be done while seated and practiced by anyone.

Teens Dungeon and Dragon Night for kids in grades seven through 12 will take place 6-8 p.m. Nov. 4.

The Senior Coffee Club will meet 10-11 a.m. on Nov. 5. Coffee and light snacks will be provided.
