Miley needs a new loving home after her owner passed away. Miley is trying to adjust to the shelter environment but she really needs a forever home soon. Miley is a very good girl who is sweet, gentle, curious, quiet, and very affectionate. She approaches people for attention and petting. She does not like the other cats and gets aggressive when they are nearby. The staff has tried to provide some free roaming time in the laundry room but she was very upset. In the shelter, she only feels safe in her cage. Miley would thrive in a quiet, low activity home with people who will shower her with patience, kindness and love. She is 6 years old, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, negative for feline immunodeficiency virus, and feline leukemia virus. She is litter trained and microchipped.
This once terrified kitten has been transformed. With the help of his wonderful foster mom, Cricket learned how to be a confident and lovable cat. He enjoys butt, ear and back scratches and belly rubs. Cricket finally purrs a lot and will place his head in his foster mom’s hand in hopes to be petted all day. He tolerates being held briefly. In the foster home, Cricket also learned to play. His preferred toys include wand toys, catnip mice and the laser dot. Cricket is great with other cats. He does not like being placed in a carrier but is OK once he’s in it. Cricket is food motivated and enjoys Churu treats. Cricket has graduated to the free roaming room at the Sanctuary and is doing very well with people and his feline friends. Cricket is about 10 months old, healthy, neutered, vaccinated, negative for feline immunodeficiency virus, and feline leukemia virus. He is litter trained and microchipped.
