Salisbury trick or treat Oct. 25

Salisbury Township will hold its annual trick-or-treat night 6-8 p.m. Oct. 25. As you drive through the neighborhoods, please be mindful of all the ghouls and goblins out looking to get large amounts of candy that night.

Oct. 30 marks the end of the first marking period. One down, three to go. Keep studying hard Falcons!

Salisbury schools will be closed for a teacher professional development day Nov. 5. School will resume Nov. 6. Please plan ahead as needed.

The Salisbury Elementary School PTO will hold its annual craft and vendor fair 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 2 at Salisbury High School. The PTO is currently looking for vendors and crafters. If you are interested, contact Vanessa Laible at BandVLaible@gmail.com.

The Salisbury Athletic Booster Club will hold a clothing drive 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 2. Drop off your unwanted clothing and other household items at the SHS auxiliary gym and help the booster club. A list of items accepted is available on clothingdrive.net. The truck will pick up donations between noon and 1 p.m.

The Salisbury twirlers will host a Fashion and Flavor Bingo Nov. 10. Doors open noon and bingo starts 1 p.m. Advance tickets are discounted; tickets will be available at the door. There will also be raffles, refreshments and door prizes. For tickets, or more information, contact salisburytwirlingboosters@gmail.com.

The township yard waste drop off sites are open. The Devonshire site will be open Oct. 24 and 26 and the Franko site will be open Oct. 28, 31 and Nov. 2. The sites are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. There are only a few more weeks left of the drop-off centers being open, as they will close for the year at the end of November.
