A 68-year-old North Whitehall man was killed when his dump truck struck an embankment in the 2700 block of Valley Road, North Whitehall, at 2:03 p.m. Oct. 15.

According to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio, David Brown was pronounced dead at 3:07 p.m. at the scene.

Buglio said the cause of Brown’s death was blunt force injuries due to the crash.

His death was ruled an accident, Buglio said.

In addition to the coroner’s office, State Police Troop M, Bethlehem, is investigating the crash.
