L.V. Active Life offering various classes
Lehigh Valley Active Life, 1633 W. Elm St., Allentown, will offer the following dance 1-3 p.m. in the Trexler Room.

·Oct. 24 and 31: Advanced Line Dancing led by instructor Cathy Seidel, noon.
·Oct. 28: Beginner Line Dancing with instructor Peggy Sue Tobias, 12:30 p.m.
·Oct. 29: Beginner Tap with instructor Grace Conti, 9 a.m.
The following creative arts classes will also be offered.

Learn how to draw with pencils in this introductory class to composition, outlining and shading.
·Oct. 29: Instructor Bonny Batman’s ceramics, 9 a.m. Price includes paints.
·Oct. 24 and 31: Junk Journaling/Book Making with instructor Jean Burd, 9:30 a.m.
Bring glue sticks, magazines, scissors and scrapbooking supplies.

·Oct. 28: “Lehigh People with Parkinson’s” moderator is Dave Rivera, 4 p.m.
The support group empowers people with Parkinson’s and their caretakers on their journey to live their best lives.
The following exercise classes will be offered.
·Oct. 28: Barre with instructor Michele Fisher, 10:15 a.m.
A low impact toning class that blends the principals of Pilates, yoga, strength training and ballet to activate your entire body.
·Oct. 23, 28 and 30: “Zumba” led by instructor Grace Conti, 9:30 a.m.
Dancers and non-dancers will enjoy this Latin inspired, dance fitness class, which is designed for seniors.
·Oct. 24, 29 and 31: Zumba with instructor Ed Nickles, 9 a.m.

·Oct. 24 and 31: Mat Pilates led by instructor Michele Fisher, 10:30 a.m.
A strengthening and lengthening form of exercise that focuses on the core (abdomen and lower back) muscles.
·Oct. 25: Tai Chi For Balance with instructor Bob Donnelly (Pai Ma Shen), 10:30 a.m.
A holistic exercise that helps reduce stress and promote physical well-being using slow flowing movement to coordinate breath and enhance strength, balance and calmness.
·Oct. 25 and 28: Fit Circuit led by instructor Sara Mercer, 12:30 p.m.
This low impact circuit style class, featuring upbeat choreography mixed with strength training, is a great overall cardio workout.
·Oct. 23, 24, 25, 28, 29 and 30: Every weekday lunch meal, 11:30 a.m. Trexler Room.
There is a small fee for those age 60 and over.
Choice of hot or cold entrée.
