Salisbury’s Owen Fogel competed in last week’s District 11 Golf Championships, held Tues., Oct. 1 at Steel Club in Hellertown.

Fogel shot 23-over par 95 to finish tied for 11th place in a 14-player boys Class 2A field.

The Falcon senior got off to a tough start before he got things turned in the right direction over his final few holes.

Fogel’s first three holes included a two bogeys sandwiched around a double-bogey after starting on the 15th hole. He then made three double-bogeys, two bogeys and a triple on the front nine holes. After another triple on the 10th, Fogel finished with three bogeys and a par on his final hole.
