Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio, D-ABMDI issued the following news release on Oct. 11.

“In October, my office has investigated an alarming seven suicides, a remarkably high number for such a short period,” Buglio said. “It’s crucial to keep a close watch on your family and friends.”

He added if anyone is facing hardships or depression, it’s imperative to offer them immediate assistance.

“Lehigh County provides plentiful resources for suicide prevention,” he said. “In this fact-paced and chaotic world, it’s important not to hesitate to extend a helping hand to those in need.

“Your support can truly make a significant difference.”
