Oct. 25

The Macungie Minstrelaires will present the program “Big Band Swing 7 p.m. at Lower Macungie Middle School, 6299 Lower Macungie Road, Macungie. Also 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Oct. 26; 7 p.m. Nov. 1; 2 and 7 p.m. Nov. 2. There is a cost for tickets. For details, visit the website www.macungie-minstrelaires.org.

The Wildlands Conservancy will host a spooky hike to track secretive night creatures in Dorothy Rider Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, 3701 Orchid Place, Emmaus, 8-9 p.m. The hike is designed for hikers 7 years and older and there is a cost. Oct. 26

The Emmaus Lions Club will host its fall chowder sale 7-11 a.m. at Emmaus Community Park Moser Pavilion, Shimerville Road. There is a cost per quart. To place an order call 610-965-7355.

The group Mopar Madness of the Lehigh Valley is scheduled to host a cruise night 3-6 p.m. in Emmaus Community Park, Shimerville Road, weather permitting. All makes and models are welcome. Cash donations at the cruise benefit the children’s charity Dream Come True. For additional details, visit Mopar Madness of the Lehigh Valley on social media.

Nov. 2

The Salisbury Athletic Booster Club will hold a clothing drive 9 a.m. to noon. Donations of unwanted clothing and household items may be brought to the auxiliary gym at Salisbury High School, 500 E. Montgomery St., Allentown. A list of acceptable items is available on the website clothingdrive.net.

The Emmaus Lioness Lions Club will host a free scarf giveaway at the Emmaus Triangle 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Over 400 handmade scarves will be available for those in need of some extra warmth during the chilly winter season. The scarves will be draped on the park fence and anyone is welcome to take one. In the event of inclement weather, the giveaway will be rescheduled for Nov. 9.

Zion Lehigh Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8269 Spring Creek Road, Alburtis, will host a Holiday Craft Bazaar 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be crafts, a basket raffle, a bake sale, attic treasures and more.

The Allentown Music Club will present an American Music Program with the theme “American Classics and Jazz” 2 p.m. at The Asbury United Methodist Church, 1533 Springhouse Road. The performers are: Jonathan Beitler, piano, Sherman Cox, clarinet, Karen El-Chaar, flute and fife, Joshua Fink, guest, colonial drum, Rich Gonya, bass guitar, John Lucas, drums, Bob Premecz, saxophone and Monika Short, soprano. The program coordinator is Santa Peters. The concert is free and open to the public.

Nov. 9

Old Zionsville United Church of Christ, 5981 Fountain Road, Old Zionsville, will hold its 27th annual bazaar and filled basket auction 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Browse through the crafters and vendors, check out the auction baskets and buy tickets for a chance to win. New this year are a door prize drawing and a 50/50 raffle. Remember to check out the bake sale. Light refreshments will be available for purchase.

Nov. 10

The Salisbury Falcon Twirlers will host a “Fashion and Flavor” bingo fundraiser at Salisbury Middle School, 3301 Devonshire Road, Allentown. The Upper Milford Historical Society will host a veteran’s program 1 to 4 p.m. at the Upper Milford Township municipal building, 5671 Chestnut St. The event will begin with a flag ceremony conducted by the Emmaus Veterans Committee. Cub Scout Pack 31 will collect old and/or worn flags for proper disposal. Guests are expected to include state Rep. Milou Mackenzie, R-131st, Sen. Jarret Coleman, R-16th and Thomas Applebach from Lehigh County Veterans Affairs.

Nov. 16

St. Peter’s Union Church, 7863 St. Peters Road, Macungie, hosts its Fall Bazaar 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Highlights include vendors and raffles. A light lunch and baked goods will be offered for sale.

Nov. 23

The 14th annual craft/vendor fair will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lower Macungie Township Community enter, 3450 Brookside Road. Over 100 crafters and vendors will be participating. Food is available 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
