Roma L. Handwerk, 94, formerly of Walnutport, died Oct. 12, 2024, at Fellowship Community, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late Gordon R. Handwerk.
Born in North Whitehall Township, she was the daughter of the late Amos D. and Emma P. (Helfrich) Kleckner.
She was employed as a merchandising clerk for the former Western Electric (Lucent Technologies) in Allentown for 35 years before retiring in 1987.
She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.
She was a volunteer for the Western Electric retirees.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, Terrilin Hutterer with Mark and Jacqueline Tucker; and their children, Lindsey Hutterer, Chase Hutterer and Charlie Kenney.
She was predeceased by a companion, Emil Margine; and 10 siblings, Amos P. Kleckner, Catherine E. Schumaker, Lillian M. Emig, Alice I. Bostick, Mabel E. Kern, Mamie I. Bair, Francis C. Kleckner, Harold B. Kleckner, Earl A. Kleckner and Arlene F. Kleckner.
