Kathleen M. Deichmeister, 86, died Oct. 17, 2024, at her home.

Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Emma (Yandrasitz) Sipos.

She was a 1956 graduate of Northampton High School.

She retired from Guardian Insurance Company.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Northampton.

She spent time volunteering in the Northampton Area School District.

She is survived by a son, Edward J. Deichmeister and fiancee Pamela Rockacy of Marco Island, Fla.; a daughter, Kathy Shipwash and husband Donald of Walnutport; a sister, Eileen Sipos of Northampton; two grandsons, Joshua Cassium and wife Amanda of Walnutport and Zack Vincler of Los Angeles, Calif.; and four great-grandchildren, Jayden Bleiler and Kendall, Keegan and Dominic Cassium.

She was predeceased by a brother, John J. Sipos Jr.
