Joy A. Nicholson, 65, of Kutztown, died Oct. 20, 2024. Born in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late William Clifford and Lorraine A. (McNabb) Nicholson. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Wescosville. Before retiring in 2018, she worked for the City of Allentown in the IT department for more than 35 years.

Her grandchildren were the love of her life. She also enjoyed traveling and reading. She was a former Girl Scout leader and a prior 4-H leader.

She is survived by her daughter, Lindsay Berardi and her fiancé, Michael Oswald, of Alburtis; granddaughters, Lexi and Addie Berardi; grandson, Chase Oswald. She was predeceased by her brother, W. David.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Oct. 24 at Bethany United Methodist Church, Wescosville Campus, 1208 Brookside Road, Allentown. Friends and family are invited to call 10-11 a.m. before the service at the church.
