Ann L. Bowers, 84, of Bethlehem, formerly of Slatington, died Oct. 14, 2024, in Bethlehem South Skilled Nursing Facility.

The widow of Harry Bowers Jr., who died in 2022, the couple was married 63 years.

Born in New Tripoli, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Merryl L. (Fatzinger) Balliet.

She was a sales associate for the former Sears Department Store, Whitehall, until retiring in 1997.

She was a member of Ebenezer UCC, New Tripoli.

Survivors include her daughter Denise (David) Knittle of Lansford; brothers Donald M. (Susan) Christ of New Tripoli, and Lee Roy Christ of Slatington; sister Barbara Rauch of New Tripoli; sister-in-law Mary Ann Bowers of Slatington; several other sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; daughter-in-law Deborah Bowers of Emmaus; grandchildren Shannon, Farrah and Kyle; two step-granddaughters, six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Randy Bowers, and her sister, Marlene Koenig.
