Harold Powell Fritsch Inc. vice president

Harold “Harry” (“Skip”) Powell, 74, of Bethlehem, died Oct. 8, 2024. He was a son of the late Henry Powell and Janet (Bachman) Gross. He was the husband of Jeanne (Nagy) Powell for 52 years.

He was a 1968 graduate of Freedom HS.

He was a United States Marine Corps veteran.

He was the vice president of Fritch Inc., where he worked for 38 years.

He was a Mason with the Bethlehem Lodge 283.

He was a former Bethlehem Township planning commission member. He volunteered for decades at the FBTAA and was the president for a number of years. He was a member of the North End Wanderers and Lehman Lake Rod & Gun Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Eric, Shaun and his wife Jacqueline and Stefanie Sneeringer and her husband Adam; two sisters, Phyllis Andrews and her husband Joseph and Diane Williams; and four grandchildren, Madeline, Claudia, Levi and Everett.

Harry was predeceased by his stepfather, Leonard Gross; stepmother, Mildred Powell; and a brother, Bryan Powell.
