Marilyn E. Werley, 86, of Weisenberg Township, died on Oct. 10, 2024, in her home.

She and her husband, Roger A. Werley, were married 59 years in July.

Born in North Whitehall Township, she was a daughter of the late Russel and Arlene (Semmel) Haas.

She was a member of, and very active in the Church of the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Alburtis.

She was also the secretary at the church for 17 years before retiring.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning and baking, as well as traveling with her husband and spending time at their house in the Poconos.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters Pamela Landis (Mario) of Emmaus and Deborah Gross (Allen) of Zionsville; brothers Darwin Haas (Grace) of Orefield and Wayne Haas (Carol) of Kempton; grandchildren Victoria, Serena, Amber and Joshua; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by siblings Laird Haas and Shirley Wisser.

Her memorial service will be 11 a.m. Oct. 22 at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Quarry Road No. 1, Alburtis.

Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. Interment will be private.
