Donald J. Fister, 88, of Germansville, died on Oct. 10, 2024, in Country Meadows Retirement Community, Allentown.

Born in Lynn Township, he was the son of the late Howard J. and Hallie E. (Weaver) Fister.

A U.S. Army veteran, He served his country from 1959-65, including a tour of duty in Germany.

He was a mechanic for Air Products, Allentown, until retiring in 2001.

After retirement, he greatly enjoyed following the Jimmy Sturr Polka Band, watching the Phillies play, and card playing at the Lehigh County Senior Center, Allentown.

He was a UCC member of Jerusalem (Red) Church, Kempton.

He is survived by his daughter, Susan D., wife of Frank Ritchie, of New Tripoli; son Kirk D. Fister of Germansville; and granddaughters Morgan and Samantha Ritchie.

He was predeceased by siblings Raymond Fister and Florence Dysher.
