Penny L. Haas, 72, of Northampton, died Oct. 4, 2024, in her home. She was the wife of Dennis L. Haas for 53 years.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Wayne and Barbara (Diefenderfer) Silberman.
She was a 1970 graduate of Allen High School.
She was employed as a retail clerk by Joann Fabric and Crafts, Whitehall. She was also employed by the former Clover Department Store, Whitehall, and the former Kuhn’s Chiropractic, Northampton.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Stacey L. and companion Ken Janowski of Northampton; two sons, Dennis L. and wife Sunita of Moorestown, N.J., and James C. and wife Jacky of Mesa, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Daniel, Ash, Devin, Aiden and Grace; a twin sister, Pam and husband Tom Stephens of Bethlehem; an aunt, Janet Ritts of California; three nieces, Jenifer, Jessica and Sundena; and four nephews, Peter, Jason, Joby and Matthew.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Sharon Bauer and Nancy Scholl.
Services are at the convenience of the family.
