• Oct. 21: It’s crazy sock day.
• Oct. 22: Enjoy team logo day.
• Oct. 23: Dress like your future successful self.
• Oct. 24: Dress like a celebrity.
• Oct. 25: Have fun with Boo Bash.
Students are allowed to wear Halloween costumes Oct. 25. Items not acceptable include face coverings, masks and look-alike weapons.

Students will be dismissed early Oct. 23. CMS will dismiss students 12:20 a.m.

Picture retake day is scheduled for Oct. 28.

Oct. 30 marks the end of the first marking period.

The CMS eighth-grade students will take a trip to Lehigh Career and Technical Institute Nov. 6.

On Nov. 11, there will be no classes for Catasauqua Area School District students. Teachers will have an in-service.

The CASD Board of Education will meet 7-8:30 p.m. Nov. 12 at the district administration building, 201 N. 14th St.

Catasauqua Community Cares Program is holding its annual winter coat drive. New and gently used coats, as well as hats and gloves, are being collected in bins at the district administration building.
Students and families in the district will be able to choose winter wear during the distribution event, scheduled for 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 16.
