Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

SEPT. 19

Officers assisted a citizen in the 300 block of Church Street.

A report of criminal mischief — a vehicle damaged — in the 500 block of Fourth Street was filed with the department.

Animal complaints were addressed in the 800 block of Sherman Street and the 100 block of Circle Drive, both for a dog found, and in the 800 block of Race Street.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of Bridge Street

A temporary protection-from-abuse order was granted in the 500 block of Fourth Street.

A report of suspicious activity on Union Street had police at the scene.

In the unit block of South 10th Street, a harassment report brought police to the area.

Noise complaints were addressed in the unit block of Front Street and the 300 block of Mulberry Street.

SEPT. 20

A traffic violation occurred at Cambridge Place and Walnut Street; the driver was cited.

Animal complaints were investigated in the 200 block of Wood Street and at South 14th Street and Bath Avenue.

A burglar alarm sounded in the 300 block of American Street.

Reports of scams were addressed in the 300 block of High Street and the 300 block of Bloomsbury Road.

A report of suspicious activity at South 10th Street and Bath Avenue had police at the scene.

Officers investigated a parking complaint at Second and Chestnut streets.

SEPT. 21

Officers assisted citizens in the 100 block of Union Street and at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.

Animal complaints were investigated at Catasauqua Area School District, 201 N. 14th St.; for a dog found, in the 500 block of East Wood Street; and the 800 block of Faith Drive.

A burglar alarm sounded in the 800 block of Bridge Street.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of Race Street.

A complaint of fireworks at Circle and Faith drives was filed with the department.

SEPT. 22

In the 700 block of Limestone Street, a reported disturbance was investigated.

Officers assisted EMS for a dog bite in the 300 block of Peach Street.
