Bath: Quilt show to be held Oct. 19, 20
Christ United Church of Christ, 109 S. Church St., is holding its eighth annual quilt show, set for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 19 and 1-3 p.m. Oct. 20.
There will be more than 50 quilted items on display. There will also be door prizes, raffle tickets and light refreshments available.

The Bath Museum, 121 S. Walnut St., will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 19.
Volunteers are needed. Call 484-284-0313 if interested.

Governor Wolf Historical Society, 6600 Jacksonville Road, East Allen Township, will be open 1-3 p.m. Oct. 19 for tours of the historic buildings, grounds and new museum.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will hold an outdoor cemetery cleanup work day Oct. 19, beginning 9 a.m. The rain date is Oct. 26.
Bring your own tools. Hedge and string trimmers will be appreciated.
Donuts will be provided.
Do not place any Christmas arrangements in the cemetery until after Thanksgiving.

The annual mayor’s community campfire will take place 7-10 p.m. Oct. 26 at Firefighter’s Field, North Chestnut St. Live music will be featured.

Bath Borough and Moore Township will be holding trick-or-treat night 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.

During the month of October, Emmanuel’s church will help Bath Area Food Bank by collecting boxed macaroni and cheese, toilet paper and paper towels. There is also a special need for canned string beans, canned corn, chicken noodle soup, peanut butter and ramen noodles.
Donations for the food bank can be dropped off in the bins in the fellowship hall or the upstairs gathering area.
The food bank is always in need of monetary donations, and A-Hart’s gift cards are needed for emergencies. Bring all gift cards in an envelope marked “food bank” to the church office.

Chapman Quarries United Methodist Church, 1433 Main St., will be having a fall festival 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 9.
There will be yard sale items, crafters, baked goods for sale and more. This will be an indoor event.
