Allen Township is presenting a free showing of the 2023 version of “The Haunted Mansion” Oct. 18 at Howertown Park, 10 Short Lane. The venue is scheduled to open 6:30 p.m.

The Triboro Soccer Club will be fundraising during the movie. The club will sell various bottled drinks as well as snack items to help cover field maintenance expenses.

No smoking, alcoholic beverages or pets are allowed.

East Allen Township will host a trunk or treat 5-7 p.m. Oct. 19 at Bicentennial Park West, 5351 Park West Lane. There will be prizes.

Those participating may start decorating their vehicles 4:15 p.m. and are asked to stay until the end of the event.

Visit Tales from Tombstones at the oldest cemetery in the county 1-4 p.m. Oct. 20 at Horner’s Cemetery, 4965 Nor-Bath Blvd., East Allen Township.

Founded in 1728, this is the first and longest, permanent, continuous settlement in Northampton County. Meet Gen. Brown and hear about the gift George Washington gave him. Meet the ancestors of Presidents Roosevelt and Truman. Hear about a lifelong friend of President Buchanan and a friend of Ben Franklin.

Visit Jane Horner, the first woman killed by Native Americans in the county and learn why. Hear the story of the local Rev. Rosbrugh, the first cleric to die in the American Revolution. Meet the delegates to Carpenter Hall’s who helped shape the constitution and delegates to the Continental Congress. Visit the three French and Indian War veterans.

The event is free, but donations are accepted.

St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 8142 Valley View Road, Seemsville, will be hosting a cash bingo Nov. 3. Doors open 11:30 a.m., and games start 1 p.m.
