Blue Ridge is continuing its longstanding partnership with Keystone Military Families’ Stockings for Soldiers initiative, marking 15 years of helping spread holiday cheer to troops at home and abroad. This effort aims to remind our military personnel that they are appreciated and remembered during the Christmas and holiday season.
Every year, KMF ships between 8,000 to 10,000 holiday stockings filled with donated food, hygiene products, and other essentials to military personnel who can’t be with their loved ones.
All funds collected this year will help cover shipping costs and purchase additional items to include in the stockings.
Blue Ridge invites the community to support the cause:
• Monetary Donations: Contribute through PayPal (brctv.com/stockingsforsoldiers) or Venmo (venmo.com/u/KeyMilFam). Donations will go directly toward shipping and distributing the stockings.
• Amazon Wish List: Purchase items directly from KMF’s Amazon Wish List, which will be shipped straight to KMF’s facility for efficient packaging. The Wish List can be found at brctv.com/blog/community and by selecting the Stockings For Soldiers blog post.
Online monetary donations will be accepted through Nov. 30.
“Believe in the mission? Share this initiative with your family, friends, and community to help make this holiday season special for our military men and women,” said Cindy Mellinger, marketing and community relations coordinator for Blue Ridge and the Central PA Project Coordinator for Stockings for Soldiers. “Last year, we raised over $34,000, and we hope to surpass that amount this year.”
