School-based mental health outpatient services help elementary, middle and high school students with emotional and/or behavioral issues by providing opportunities to meet and work with therapists in the school setting where it is convenient and comfortable.
That’s why CASD is proud to partner with Salisbury Behavioral Health to provide these services to students. Therapists work directly with building Student Assistance Program teams, school counselors and staff to provide support to students on a daily basis.
Salisbury Behavioral Health can provide the following services: mental health assessments, biopsychosocial assessments, substance abuse screening, trauma exposure screening, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, individual and group therapy, parenting psycho-educational groups and family therapy.
In addition, students may be eligible for the following home, school and community services: children’s family-based mental health services and blended case management services.
Referrals for Salisbury Behavioral Health services can be submitted by contacting your child’s school counselor.
