Moore Township: Protection board to meet Oct. 14
Moore Township Land and Environmental Protection Board next meets 7 p.m. Oct. 14 at the township municipal building, 2491 Community Drive.

The recreation committee’s next meeting is set for 7 p.m. Oct. 16 at the recreation center, 635 English Road. The committee’s goals are to assist township children and families.

Moore Township Lioness-Lions Club is planning its fall penny party Oct. 27 at Klecknersville Fire Company Social Hall, 2718 Mountain View Drive. Doors open 11:30 a.m., and the game begins 1 p.m. All ages are welcome.
There will also be a Thanksgiving basket raffle, door prizes and a tricky tray. Bring your own pennies or purchase pennies at the event.
Food is available for purchase and includes homemade baked goods.

Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church, 696 Johnson Road, Moorestown, hosts a Boy Scout Troop 74 meeting 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday in the social hall. Boy Scouts are for boys and girls 10 years old and up.
