Maryann R. Raab, 71, of Alburtis, died Oct. 1, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Her husband, John Raab, died in 2018. Born in Babylon, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Martin and Anne (Colura) DiGioia.

She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Emmaus.

She previously owned and operated her own cleaning company for several years. She later became a phlebotomist, working at St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown and later retired from Weis Markets, Macungie, where she worked at the deli counter.

She enjoyed arts and crafts, attending to animals, cooking and excelled at interior design.

She is survived by daughters, Laura Miranda, Nicole Miranda, Cory Marie Frederick; grandsons, Ethan Caines, Bryson Hepp; father of her children, Robert J. Miranda; cousins, Peter DiGioia, Janice Maticke. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Miranda in 2000.

Services will be held Oct. 11 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m. Oct. 11 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Emmaus. A viewing will be held 6-8 p.m. Oct. 10 and 9-10:15 a.m. Oct. 11 in the funeral home.
