Marie A. Lanze, 82, of Allentown, died Oct. 1, 2024. She was the wife of Ronald C. Lanze Sr. for 62 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Joyce (Peters) Szilezy.

She was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five daughters, Deanna Shisslak with Jeff, Donna Remaley with Kent, Christina Toth with Bob, Alicia and Gina McKelley with Sean; four grandchildren, Ashley with Matt, Jeffrey with Danielle, Natalie with Brian and Madison; six great-grandchildren, Liam, Ellie, Cora, Landon, Kennedy and Callum; six siblings, Louis Szilezy with Susan, Rose Mary Wechsler, Francine Cernobyl with Irving, Frank Szilezy with Patti, Cecelia Wotring and David Szilezy with Cheryl; a sister-in-law, Karen Szilezy; a daughter-in-law, Tracy; many nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends.

She was predeceased by a son, Ronald Jr.; a brother, Joseph Szilezy; a sister, Carol Ernst; a son-in-law, Brian Maehrer; four brothers-in-law, Francis Wechsler, Walter Ernst, John Wotring and Thomas Cernobyl.
