From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 12, Northampton Area High School students will hold their homecoming dance in the gymnasium.

There will be no school Oct. 14 due to a professional development day for teachers.

Northampton Area Middle School is hosting its Fall Ball 6-8 p.m. Oct. 19 in the gymnasium. The dance is for any current sixth-, seventh- or eighth-grade NAMS or Northampton Cyber Academy student. Outside guests or students who do not attend NAMS or NCA are not permitted to attend.

There will be light refreshments at the dance available for purchase from the PTA (cash only).

Tickets will be sold for $2 (cash only) in the main office during KTT periods through Oct. 18. Tickets will also be sold at the door.

All proceeds will benefit the PTA and student activities.

As this is a casual dance, jeans and sneakers are appropriate attire; no high heels will be permitted. All outfits must follow the Northampton Area School District dress code policy, which you can review on pages 55 and 56 of the handbook.

No bags will be permitted in school the night of the dance; all personal items should be kept in pockets.

All students must be in school on the day of the dance. If a student has a medical/dental appointment during the school day and plans on attending the dance, a written excuse must be presented to administration. Personal appointments, such as for hair or nails, are not an acceptable excuse.

NAHS Drama Club is hosting a trunk or treat 2-6 p.m. Oct. 26 at the school. There will be candy, face painting, games, prizes and awards.

All proceeds will benefit NAHS Theater Troupe.
