Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

SEPT. 12

Suspicious activity in the 500 block of Walnut Street was investigated.

A report of theft from a motor vehicle in the 300 block of Mulberry Street was filed with the department.

A hit and run took place on Pine Street.

A parking complaint was addressed at Catasauqua Area School District, 201 N. 14th St. A ticket was issued.

Police issued a protection-from-abuse order in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

Traffic stops were conducted on Race Street and in the unit block of Willow Street, with a verbal warning issued.

Officers assisted a citizen during a domestic disturbance at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.

SEPT. 13

Police conducted a welfare check in the 300 block of Church Street.

Reports of threats at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road, were investigated.

A domestic disturbance, with no arrests, was reported in the 500 block of Fourth Street.

At Limestone and Wood streets, a suspicious person was reported.

SEPT. 14

Officers assisted citizens in the 600 block of Front Street and the 500 block of St. John Street.

A traffic violation took place at Chapel Street and Howertown Road, North Catasauqua; the driver was cited.

An attempted theft from a vehicle occurred in the 700 block of Crane Street, police said. No items were taken.

Parking complaints were addressed at Second and Willow streets and in the 400 block of Race Street.

A motor vehicle accident with a bicycle occurred in the 700 block of Third Street.

SEPT. 15

Suspicious activity in the 700 block of Second Street had police at the scene.

Traffic violations took place in the 600 block of Howertown Road and at Race and Lehigh streets.

A reported disturbance at Bridge and Front streets was investigated.

Officers responded to noise complaints at Howertown Road and School Street, in the 100 block of Howertown Road and the 300 block of Mulberry Street.

Police were on the scene of a verbal domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Canal Street. No arrests were made.

SEPT. 16

Police conducted a K-9 assist at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road.

A temporary protection-from-abuse order was granted in the 200 block of Second Street.

In the 600 block of Poplar Street, a hit and run to a parked vehicle took place.

A noise complaint in the 300 block of Mulberry Street was addressed.

SEPT. 17

At Howertown Road and Walnut Street, a traffic violation occurred; the driver was cited.

Credit card fraud in the 400 block of Crane Street was investigated.

The unauthorized use of a vehicle in the 2000 block of Lehigh Street was reported.

A report of a suspicious person in the 400 block of Walnut Street had police at the scene.

An animal complaint at Bridge Street and Howertown Road was addressed.

Officers assisted a citizen in the 600 block of Third Street.

On Pine Street, a traffic violation took place; the driver was cited.

A reported civil matter in the 400 block of Second Street was investigated.

In the 300 block of Howertown Road, a hit and run occurred.

At Limestone and Strawberry streets, officers conducted a welfare check.

Theft from a motor vehicle in the 600 block of Third Street was reported.

A parking complaint at Howertown Road and Walnut Street was handled.

Police responded to a reported neighbor dispute in the 600 block of Poplar Street.
