Ronald Howe Roy, 82, of Schnecksville, died peacefully Oct. 1, 2024, in Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation, South Whitehall, where he only recently moved.

The beloved husband of Sharon (Moynihan) Roy, the couple shared 58 wonderful years of marriage.

Born March 18, 1942, in Concord, N.H., he was the son of the late Herman L. and Dorothy W. (Howe) Roy.

A proud graduate of St. John’s Catholic School in Concord and New England College, he enjoyed a long and successful career as a sales representative with Shared Medical Systems, Malvern.

He and his wife later owned and operated Yesterday’s Memories, a consignment store in Venice, Fla., where they spent many happy years.

After returning to Pennsylvania to be near his daughters, he also enjoyed his work at Goodwill during retirement.

A dedicated Boston sports fan all his life, he loved spending time outdoors fishing and golfing.

Above all, he was a devoted family man who cherished time with his family and friends.

He will be deeply missed as a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Lisa M. Roy and Michelle A. Roy, both of Schnecksville; sister Lynn R. Girard (Denis) of Charlottesville, Va.; and nieces and nephews Kristen Golomb, Denise Sun, Melissa Girouard, William Stavros, Derek Moynihan and Joseph Tutrone.

He was predeceased by nephews Christopher Stavros and Norman Martel Jr.

There will be a private memorial service at the convenience of the family.
