The Strand Pool

Do you suppose there is some place called a strand pool,

Where all the little bits and pieces of thoughts and conversations

That we have not gathered up over the years come together?

Yes, I think there is, and it’s as inviting to timeful lovers

As a big ball of yarn is to cats.

It will always be there for us to nuzzle and nibble

When age is high and lights are low,

A little known love toy for seniors.
