cross country team

Kutztown University has announced 14 student-athletes will represent its women’s cross country team for the 2024 season, including Gracie Trexler of Laurys Station and Erika Moriarty of Kutztown.

The Kutztown University women’s cross country team is ready to begin a brand new season in 2024 with plenty of experience leading the charge.

The Golden Bears feature half of their roster (seven of the 14) upperclassmen.

Five of the eight competitors at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championship meet in 2023 are back in the lineup.

The Golden Bears are ranked eighth in the Atlantic Region in the USTFCCCA preseason regional rankings.

KU began its campaign on Sept. 5, at the West Liberty Invitational.

Kutztown has several meets during the regular season, including the annual home meet which took place at North Campus Course on Sept. 13.

The PSAC Championships are set for Oct. 26 from North Campus Course.
