Hoot hike set for Oct. 18

Owl fans may take a hoot hike 8-9:30 p.m. Oct. 18 in the Dorothy Rider Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, 3701 Orchid Place, Emmaus.

There is a cost.

Hikers will walk through the sanctuary to meet owls native to the Lehigh River watershed. There will be time for questions and s’mores treats at the end of the hike.

The program is designed for those who are 4 years and older.
