The Whitehall Active Volunteer Fire Department Association will be holding the Haunted Hayride in the Parkway again this year at the Whitehall Parkway, 4689 S. Church St. The hayride will take place 7-11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through October.

Get together with your family and friends and have a fun and scary night out. Parking is free, and there are refreshments available for purchase.

Proceeds benefit Whitehall Fire Department.

The Whitehall Zephyr varsity football team will travel to Emmaus to take on the Green Hornets Oct. 4, starting 7 p.m.

Support the team, and enjoy some awesome football action!

Enjoy Oktoberfest at the SteelStacks in Bethlehem. The event is held Oct. 4-6 and Oct. 11-12 at 645 E. First St., Bethlehem.

In addition to authentic German food and drink, there are activities for the kids, along with music, artisans and other attractions.
