St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 105 E. 19th St., will hold a basket social 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 5. There will be a wide variety of baskets available.

Refreshments will be available for purchase, and there will also be a bake sale.

There is a cost for tickets.

Northampton AARP Chapter 3915 will meet Oct. 9 at Northampton Banquet and Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave. Doors open 11 a.m.

Members, bring your national and local membership cards. Dues for 2025 will be collected; no membership dues will be collected at the Christmas party.

All members are cordially invited to attend, and the group welcomes any new members to visit or join. Bus trips will be displayed at the trip table.

Vince’s Cheesesteak Food Truck is planning to be at Miller Supply Ace Hardware, 570 Nor-Bath Blvd., from 11 a.m.to 6 p.m. Oct. 11. Holy Trinity Slovak Lutheran Church will receive $1 for every sandwich sold.

A halupki dinner will be held 4-6 p.m. Oct. 19 at Grace United Church of Christ, 902 Lincoln Ave. Dinners, for eat-in or takeout, include two halupkies, mashed potatoes, roll and a cupcake for dessert.
