Kevin K. Kromer, 59, of Walnutport, died Sept. 22, 2024. He was the husband of Kelly L. (Hay) Kromer for 28 years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of Harold Kromer of Walnutport and Renae Voght of Slatington.

He was a 1983 graduate of Northampton Area Senior High School.

He owned and operated Kromer Plumbing, Heating and Air for the past 32 years.

He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville.

He was a member of the Mountain Chapter of the B.A.C.K. motorcycle group — Bikers Against Cop Killers.

As a stock car racer, he raced for years at the former Dorney Park Speedway, Mahoning Valley Speedway, Evergreen Raceway and Pocono Raceway. In the last few years, he was racing in the Grand National Super Series touring circuit.

He and his wife are the founders of the Mission R.A.C.E.R. nonprofit group. He was a member of the Unionville Ridge Runners.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a daughter, Nicole with Louis Soto of Northampton; two sons, Aaron B. and wife Tanya of Walnutport and Kyle A. and wife Karlie of Danielsville; a sister, Wanda Lalik of Walnutport; two grandsons, Kamron and Lennox; and a mother-in-law, Sharon Hay-Royer of Allentown.

He was predeceased by a brother, Randy; and a granddaughter, Leilene Soto.
