James G. Kondravy, 82, died Sept. 27, 2024, in Nazareth Hospital, Philadelphia, after a short stay at Richboro Rehabilitation.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Michael and Ida (Seibert) Kondravy Jr.
A Parkland High School graduate, he played basketball and baseball there.
A draftsman and then a planner analyst at PPL, he started in 1962 and retired in 2004.
He was a lifelong member of St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown.
In his later years, he was a very active volunteer at St. Luke’s Church, at the Neighborhood Center, and at the Allentown Area Ecumenical Food Bank.
He also volunteered his time with North Parkland AA.
His survivors include sons and their wives James (Jenn) of Myrtle Beach and Dwight (Kristy) of Philadelphia; and grandchildren Matthew, Jayson and Brandon and David and Dylan and Zachary and Elizabeth.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Oct. 3 at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown.
A viewing will precede the service from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church, 417 N. 7th St., Allentown, PA 18102.
