George E. Wieland Jr., 96, of Northampton, died Sept. 27, 2024, at Sacred Heart Senior Living, Northampton. He was the husband of the late Doris M. (Holland) Wieland.

Born in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of the late George E. Sr. and Anna (Roth) Wieland.

He was a chemical engineer at Bethlehem Steel for many years.

He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Bethlehem.

He is survived by three children, George E. III and wife Wendy, Kathy Stocker and Barbara Hoffman and husband Steve; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
