Emmaus Heritage Festival takes visitors back in time

The Emmaus Heritage Festival was held at the Emmaus Historical Society Sept. 21. The event was organized by the Emmaus Heritage Alliance on the grounds of the Emmaus Historical Society, 218 Main St., Emmaus. The day included live music, crafts, interactive displays and demonstrations and games. Members of the Emmaus Heritage Alliance include the Emmaus Historical Society, Shelter House, Knauss Homestead, 1803 House, Emmaus Public Library, Emmaus Moravian Church and the Emmaus Main Street Partners. ABOVE: Christine DeSousa demonstrates wool cleaning and spinning and was selling things she made with the wool at the Emmaus Heritage Festival.
