EHS names student of the week

Q. In what grade are you currently enrolled?

A. I am in 12th grade at Emmaus High School.

Q. Please provide the first names of your family members: parents, siblings and pets.

A. My mother, Rina Duggan, my father, Danny Duggan Sr., my sister Maria Duggan and my dog Dasher.

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject is science. I enjoy solving problems in a scientific way and I like natural sciences.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. I have received national merit and high honors.

Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? How has being involved in these organizations impacted your high school experience?

A. I play varsity football and do track as well as participate in National Honor Society and Kid to Kid clubs. These activities helped shape me going into my senior year. They both taught me leadership, discipline, and teamwork.

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A. My biggest challenge to date is working with my teammates and coaches to build a championship level team. We work hard day in and out to bring the best out of our team.

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A. My next goal after high school is to go to a college that best suits me and my future.

Q. If you could spend an evening conversing with a historically significant person, whom would you choose? Why?

A. If I were to spend an evening conversing with a historical figure I would choose Jesus. I would choose him because of his significance in the world and his significance in my life.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. I would like to be remembered as a person who always had a smile on their face.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. My advice for my peers is live in the present. Many people struggle because of their perspective, focus on what you can control.
