Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church is holding a chicken Marsala dinner Oct. 12 at the church, 604 Fourth St. Seating times are scheduled for 4:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The menu includes chicken Marsala over pasta, salad, rolls with butter and dessert.

Cost is by donation, and all proceeds benefit the Allentown Rescue Mission, an organization dedicated to giving hope to homeless men in our community

Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., will be having a meatloaf dinner, for takeout only, 3-5 p.m. Oct. 19. The menu consists of meatloaf, potato, vegetable, roll and dessert.

Orders are due by Oct. 5.

Call the church office at 610-264-4091 for the cost and to place your order. You can also drop off your order in the church mailbox, located along Third Street. Payment is due with your order.

George Taylor House Association, Lehigh and Poplar streets, is looking for crafters and vendors for its annual Harvest and Haunts Fall Festival, which is planned for 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 26.
