Bath: Animal blessing scheduled for Oct. 6

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will have a Blessing of the Animals service 4 p.m. Oct. 6. All pets should be leashed or in a carrier.

Bath Eckley E. Patch Post 470 American Legion will hold a basket raffle 5-9 p.m. Oct. 11, noon-6 p.m. Oct. 12 and 2-3 p.m. Oct. 13, with the drawing 3 p.m., at its location, 278 Race St.

Tickets will be available at the door. No need to be present to win.

Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, will host bingo Oct. 13. The doors open 11:30 a.m., and bingo begins 1 p.m.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle, 20 games and five specials.

The kitchen will be open, and the event is BYOB.

Petersville Rod and Gun Club, 550 Club Road, will start its all-you-can-eat breakfasts 8-11 a.m. Oct. 13. Children under age 5 eat for free.

Bath Volunteer Fire Fighters’ annual Halloween parade will be held 7 p.m. Oct. 15. The parade will start at Broad and East Main streets. Marchers should be dropped off in front of George Wolf Elementary School.

Bath Mayor Fiorella Reginelli Mirabito announced a soup collection will be held during October to help Bath Area Food Bank. Cans of soup can be dropped off 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays at borough hall, 121 S. Walnut St.
