Police arrested a 17-year-old man after the fatal shooting of an Allentown native Thursday night.

Gianni Santini and Altaron A. Robinson, 30, were allegedly amid a drug deal near Governor Wolf ES when the former decided to rob the latter. Robinson tackled Santini and was shot. He died Friday afternoon at a local hospital.

Police Chief Michelle Kott said a warrant was obtained and Santini surrendered without incident. Bail was denied. He faces homicide, robbery, and weapons charges, and he may be prosecuted as an adult.
